In this new age of technology, our goal is to promote the theme of XR for Good: motivating students to create Extended Reality applications that benefit our communities and are created with social responsibility in mind.
Join us at USC’s campus on April 18th for RealityShift, USC’s first Extended Reality (XR) Hackathon. This event will be a full-day, 12-hour development sprint in which you and a team of up to 4 students will create an XR application that tackles a social problem.
Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term encompassing Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies that merge physical and virtual worlds, creating immersive, interactive, and digital-overlay experiences.
At the orientation, a prompt and problem statement regarding a specific social problem will be released. Your team has the full day to develop an ethical XR application that solves this problem.
12 hours to build solutions that address real-world challenges in your community.
Connect with industry leaders, mentors, and fellow builders passionate about XR.
Create lasting change on the XR industry.
